We absolutely loved our stay at the Fourviere Hotel. The beautiful architecture and stunning art throughout the hotel created a charming atmosphere. Our room was cozy and welcoming, with a lovely view that made our mornings feel special. The staff went above and beyond by preparing thoughtful amenities for our dogs, which made us feel extra appreciated as guests. After a long drive, we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food at the restaurant, followed by drinks in the picturesque courtyard. Exploring the nearby Roman ruins and Notre Dame Cathedral was an unexpected highlight of our trip.
We didn't enjoy the weather during our stay.

The Fourviere features stunning architecture and a serene atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for business travellers. The service was exemplary, with staff efficiently assisting in setup for meetings and providing thoughtful amenities. The room decor felt somewhat outdated.

The lobby is beautiful, can’t deny that! The room was cozy, not too big but had a nice view, and the staff was truly friendly, always ready to help.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The room was spacious and modern, really loved the clean vibe. The bathroom had this cool Italian design with heated towel rails, which was nice. I found the room a bit cold even after adjusting the temperature, though. Another downside was the mini bar only had water. The shower was annoying at times—changing heat levels unexpectedly. Wifi was a pain, kept logging out. But honestly, the architecture of the place makes up for it all. Really unique atmosphere here!

Stunning architectural transformation, unique chapel entrance, beautiful historical ambiance
Room temperature inconsistencies were frustrating!!! A better mix of room amenities would enhance comfort significantly!!! Also, addressing the slow WiFi and noise issues could improve overall guest experience immensely!!!

Beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere
We absolutely loved our stay in a beautifully restored convent with stunning architecture and art throughout. The room was cozy and welcoming, and the serene gardens offered a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed dining in the charming courtyard, savoring every bite of the exquisite local cuisine. While our experience was exceptional, the drinks at the bar felt a bit pricey compared to other establishments nearby.

The architecture is stunning, showcasing original features, and the location offers a unique charm, despite being uphill. However, the breakfast area feels cramped when the hotel is busy, leading to a chaotic atmosphere. The room's wardrobe is impractical for longer dresses, and the small plastic glasses felt cheap. The staff were generally professional and accommodating, enhancing the comfort throughout the stay.

Fourviere's stunning architecture captivated me as an art historian. I felt the history of the converted convent in its beautiful design. The tranquil location provided a peaceful retreat, but I found the spa a bit crowded during my visit. Still, it’s a gem worth exploring.
